It is best advised that you are able to hit a few strict ring dips and a few strict pull ups in order to do this movement. Understanding mobility is understanding that you can’t look at only one muscle. . . . We have multiple muscles which cooperate a lot with each other. . . . Only looking at the “stiff” muscle is not gonna solve the problem long term. . . . Also, only looking at for instance, the pecs and scapular region for overhead mobility also falls short. Proper sequencing will ensure movement efficiency. When the hips rise too soon, we inhibit the quads from working and when we lean back to early we have to go around the knees so the line of action is not straight. Always nice to see progress, @bouwekloos improving his “PAN-US WAY” test score with 23.74%. We use this test to assess aerobic capacity. On 16-09-19 he scored 5675 reps and on 23-09-20 he scored 7025.
